BOURBON’s goal is to deliver to its clients a latest-generation fleet with innovative vessels and equipments. The Group works closely with top marine architects to develop new concepts in all areas of ship design.

BOURBON’s vessels have thus been among the first to benefit from innovations such as the PG-MACS™ (Per Gjerdrum) system which increases hold storage capacities and offers great flexibility for the tanks.

Thanks to BOURBON’s investments in large series of vessels, the shipyards are able to adopt building methods widely used by the offshore industry, such as pre-assembly and modular construction. The engine operating stations, for example, are fully assembled and wired in a workshop outside the vessels.
