Offshore field and wind farm development support
Bourbon Subsea Services is establishing itself year after year as a key player for contractors.
The services dedicated to wells (wireline and well testing) especially require a very specific expertise due to the introduction of measurement instruments in the heart of the reservoir/well.
These delicate operations must be subjected to a precise risk assessment and an intensive cooperation with the client. Bourbon Subsea Services has gradually developed an expertise in this field, notably with the Bourbon Emerald Nigeria.
Bourbon Subsea Services is also developing an expertise in supporting the development of wind farms, from the installation to the connection. So the Bourbon Enterprise operates in the North Sea on the Greater Gabbard field as a support of one of the world’s largest offshore wind project (150 windmills). The vessel, whose capacity is 103 people, is involved in the installation and protection of undersea electric cables. It is used as a “floating hotel” to accommodate the employees and to assist the windmills’ connection task after installation.
